To All TexasOMS Patients and Friends:
We are thrilled to announce the immediate availability of our telehealth video chat and secure text messaging services! We now offer fully HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing for our patients and friends that is:
- Easy to use
- Requires no software download
- Works anywhere, on any device
Our new video chat service is completely safe and secure, fully protects the privacy of the patient, and works on Android and iOS, on PCs and Macs! We have fully vetted and tested this technology so that our patients and friends can rest assured that their protected health information will remain private and secure. All you have to have is a computer, tablet or smart phone with WebCam and audio capabilities and an Internet connection!
We are now scheduling appointments for new and established patients to video chat directly with Dr. Bates. Patients may schedule video chat appointments by calling our office at 214-824-8960 and speaking with our staff available during business hours Monday through Friday. Our friendly staff will schedule an appointment at your convenience and set you up to access our patient portal where you will be able to complete our registration forms online prior to your telehealth appointment. You will also be asked to provide your medical insurance information for reimbursement purposes. We anticipate that, due to recent changes, these telehealth visits should be covered by most health insurance, with the patient responsible for just their co-pay or deductible.
